Klyde is ALL manly man when it comes to life. No girly tutus here. This guy plays hard--his go-to game is tug of war, and he's never met a playmate he didn't like. When play time is done, he'll crawl into your lap for hugs, kisses, and a quick snooze before he's back at it. This pooch loves life and adventure! Klyde is healthy, handsome, and ready for an active, fun-loving forever home. Is that you? Please apply to adopt Klyde today!

Klyde doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he kindly requests a house with a yard and a family with no small dogs or small children because he DOES like to play hard.

About Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Greetings! We are a non-profit organization devoted to the rescue of homeless basset hounds in Houston, TX, and surrounding regions. Bassets are rescued from shelters or received as owner turn-ins and placed into foster homes. Medical conditions are addressed and all unaltered animals spayed and neutered prior to being adopted by their new "forever families". In addition to rescue efforts, our group is also focused on promoting a sense of community amongst those who are owned by a basset hound (or would like to be).
