Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Peggy is just two years old and has already been a mommy. No more teenaged pregnancies for this girl. She's now ready for the easy life with a family that loves her for her sweet personality.
We're told Peggy is part border collie and spaniel. Just think how smart this makes her!
Peggy is very good with other dogs. She likes attention and to have her ears scratched. She is crate trained and house broken.
Peggy worries whenever she is taken out of the house and put in a car. She's never been in a car to just go for a ride to somewhere fun. She rides ok once in the car; but, getting her in the car is a bit of a struggle. Riding in the car has landed her in the pound or the vet. She needs someone who wants to help her overcome that fear.
Peggy is spay, fully vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases.
Her adoption donation of $175 helps our rescue purchase food and medical care for the other dogs that are not as healthy or young as Peggy. We offer a two week trial period for all of our dogs. If for some reason you feel we have not made the right match, we will refund your money in the first two weeks and take back the dog.
If you are interested in making Miss Peggy a new family member, contact britrescueaz@cox.net and ask that an adoption application be sent to you. Our adoption process includes an application, interview, and home visit.
Meet Peggy this Saturday, February 11th at the Anthem Pet Adoption event 10 am to 3 pm.
Anthem Community Park.
