This chocolate brown tabby is Honey, trapped during one of Brooklyn Animal Action rescuer Christie’s TNR projects in Marine Park. It turned out right away that Honey is super friendly—as sweet as her name suggests—so of course Christie couldn’t put her back outside, where her quality of life would be sorely lacking.
While Honey is amazing with humans, she doesn’t get along well with other cats. She has been kept safe and sound, and away from her fellow felines, in Christie’s bathroom for 2 weeks, where she has started to get depressed. We would love to have a long-term foster or adoptive home without other cats where Honey can be her happiest self.
Honey is approximately 8 – 10 years old, spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, and vaccinated. She has a clean bill of health from the vet. Since she’s an older cat, she would do best on a wet food diet, which she happens to prefer. If you can be Honey’s superhero, contact Christie at email@example.com!
