My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to recruit a ball player? Well, you've found your Star! This girl is a natural ball player. She retrieves and drops it right back at your feet.

Star had to put her ball playing career on hold recently. After a night with a smooth talking mutt-boy, she found herself pregnant. Another case of teenage pregnancy! But once the puppies were weaned, they packed their little bark bags and moved to another rescue home. Star moved to Phoenix in hopes of rejuvenating her ball career, hone her ball-playing skills, and be recruited by a new, loving family. She would do best with children aged 10 years and over.

Star is a very affectionate girl who would like nothing more than to please you and play ball! She is crate trained and house broken. She does great with other dogs. Star is spay and fully vaccinated. She tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases.

Our adoption process includes an application, interview, home visit and meet/greet with June and all your family members Email britrescueaz@cox.net to request an application.

Star's adoption donation of $150 helps our rescue purchase food and medical care for dogs not as healthy or as young as Star.
