My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Gretel (HWTH#17044A). She is a Lhasa Apso, DOB: 2/12/12. Gretel weighs approximately 7 pounds and stands 9 inches at the shoulders. She is one of four purebred dogs that were surrendered to a local veterinary clinic. The owner is a backyard breeder who not longer wanted them. They have now been relinquished to Halfway to Home so they all can find the loving Forever homes they deserve and begin normal lives as pets instead of breeding machines or studs. Gretel is a little timid with strangers but shows no signs of aggression. She likes being held and petted. With lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and exercise, she should adjust easily to her new home. When Gretel is thoroughly settled in her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once she has bonded with her new owner, she will make a wonderful canine companion. Gretel appears to be good with other dogs and is crate trained. For more information on Gretel, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
