Courtesy 7's Story...
Pete is a stray that just decided to call a stone quarry home. He weighs approx. 25lbs and has a good temperament. He loves attention and will take food slowly from your hand without any signs of aggressiveness. He is an Australian Cattle Dog and approx. 1 year old. He is not safe in the quarry and needs a good home.

Petey has just recently been taught how to fetch and bring the ball back. Petey is a submissive male around female dogs. He was kept with cats so he is used to sleeping and playing with them. He is also good with children since we have a six month old that he allows to pull his ears, eyelids, tail, etc and the only thing he does in retaliation is to lick the face.

Petey is not a foster of Carolina ACD R&R and any inquiries should be directed to Kristin at (803) 397-4103.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Courtesy 7, a Siler City Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
