My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World,
My name is Buddy Bear and I’m a delightful and adorable bichon boy of about 2 years old. Mom says I’m sweet, happy, cuddly, silly, energetic and eager to please – and that I’m just 16 pounds of cuteness. (You see, I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)
When I came to Mom and Dad’s house, it wasn’t long before they fell in love. I taught them how to play (with toys!) – and to fetch. (Or maybe they taught me!) Dad says if you give me a tennis ball and throw it, I’ll be your best friend for life! And I taught Mom how to sleep on the back of the couch and to come when she’s called (Oh silly me – that’s what I do!) She taught me to appreciate the value of a good belly rub and that’s a very good thing!

I have a doggy foster brother to play with – and two human kids, a brother and sister, who also like to play with me – and play we do. I also like to run around the yard. I’m a bit like the Energizer Bunny and a puppy rolled into one! Did I mention that I also love to go for walks and rides in the car? Being busy non-stop is something I can do very easily.

Dad says to tell you that I’m eager to please, smart and fun to live with – because everything I do is entertaining and there’s always a smile on my face. Mom says I’m adorable, cute and a very special boy!

Besides being special in all the ways I’ve been described, I’m also special in one other way. I have this special ‘liquid’ that I take a teeny amount of each day so that I won’t have this thing called a seizure. Now I haven’t had a single one since I started with my medicine – and we hope I will not have any again. (That’s why I’m so glad I have my special liquid.) If you didn’t know I had ever had one you certainly couldn’t tell. I’m just as active, playful and happy as my doggy foster brother!

Mom and Dad are hoping you will see all my cuteness and happiness, my loyalty and silliness and want to love me forever. I truly deserve a family to call my own. Will you be the one for me? If you think you are, let’s meet soon.

Bichon waves and wags,
Bubbly and Bedazzling Buddy Bear
