Pearl's Story...
HI! My name is Pearl! I am about 7 months old and was found wandering around in the country. I was so excited to be rescued because I am a happy girl and love to be around people. They say I am a Pyrenees/Lab mix and at 70 pounds, I still have a little growing to do. And I like kids too! I get along great with the foster dogs in my home and am good with those cats that wander in and out. I like to play, but typical of the Pyrenees personality, I like to survey my yard and make sure everyone in it is supposed to be there. I do like to play fetch and dip my toes in the pond, but what I like most of all is LOVE! I am fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Just contact my rescue group and they’ll arrange a meeting. I’m anxious to share my joy for life with my new forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Terrell Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Terrell, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Terrell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Terrell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Terrell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Terrell paves the way for another one to be saved.
