Shirley's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shirley's Story...
Introducing Shirley. She joined our rescue after a friend of the rescue let us know they were being given away. Not wanting any of these dogs to have uncertain fates, we stepped in and brought them in to the WAR family. Shirley is as sweet as she can be.

Their mom was a German Shepherd and we are uncertain who dad was, they have some lab and border collie qualities but mostly, look like a fluffy, all American, Heinz 57 mix - our favorite kinds. Shirley's adoption fee will include her spay surgery, microchip, health certificate, all up to date shots, deworming, and preventions that are appropriate for a puppy her age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shirley, a Memphis German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie for sale in Memphis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
