Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ripley may look like a Pit in his pictures but he is NOT a pitbull. His mother was a black lab and the shape of his face indicates that his dad was probably a boxer. Ripley is very sweet, good natured and submissive to every other dog he meets. Ripley had a broken leg from being hit by a car. When the police told his owners they had to take him to the vet, they turned him into animal control. Ripley's leg is healed and he is now looking for a better family.
Ripley is a year old. He weighs 51 pounds and is solid black with a few white hairs under his chest. Ripley is crate trained, house trained and otherwise well behaved in the house. He is relatively calm, very sweet and loves to play with other dogs. He is interested in cats, but is scared of them when he meets one. Ripley must have a home where he is allowed inside as a loved member of the family. A good natured canine playmate would be great, and he needs a secure fenced yard where he can run and play.
Ripley is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Ripley has a $80.00 adoption fee. Please contact Marianne at 2 Many Dogs for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting Ripley.
We do adopt out of state and dogs are shipped to the northeast via ground transport for a total cost of $400.00 (including adoption fee).
