Update! Our sweet boy Jarvis is now a tripod. He successfully went through the amputation of his back leg and is recovering in a foster home, doing very well. What a champ he is and looking just as handsome as ever. Do you have room in your heart for this amazing boy who just wants kisses and hugs?
Jarvis is a very friendly, 6-year-old red/brindle Pit Bull mix. He loves people and is a cuddlebug. If you welcome this boy into your life, you will always have a full supply of kisses!
Jarvis is very smart and eager to please. He knows "sit" and "shake", and could easily be taught to do much more. He is a great walking companion, very easygoing and submissive.
Jarvis was taken from a hoarding situation where he was getting in fights with a bigger dog, so he may have developed a fear of bigger dogs from his altercations. He will need a home where he is the only dog. Because of the intensity he has while playing with toys, volunteers have been working with him to trade a high value treat for the toy. We are unsure at this time of how he would do in a home with kids.
