Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Who doesn't adore a man that will bring you your slippers, enjoys the comics section of the newspaper in the morning, loves to dance and is happy to cuddle anytime? Plus he's single! Meet Vinny. This amazing pup was saved by two of our incredible fosters when he came into a veterinary clinic with severe cuts on his paws, newly broken toes and ribs, old fractures, bruises and signs of being kicked in the abdomen. Found hog-tied on the railroad tracks, one would think Vinny would be done with people but this resilient guy has remained a complete lovebug. After the trauma of not only being abandoned but also severely abused, we chose to keep Vinny in rescue for some major TLC and thankfully it did the trick because our Poodle/Bichon mix is happy, healthy and ready for his forever home! Vinny can be a little nervous with some new people, particularly men, and will need a patient family to continue to work with him on socialization and to show him unconditional patience and love. In return, Vinny will lay upside down on your furniture, allow you to rub his belly and reward you with his "asking dance" which consists of him standing on his hind legs and pawing at the air. The "bring you your slippers" thing may have been a bit of an exaggeration but Vinny does have a love affair with slippers, socks, chasing feet and toys! Hey, that's almost the same thing! Our 12lb, 4 year old teddy bear also thinks walks are fantastic, enjoys a good play session with his canine foster siblings (our little bear doesn't mind kitties either!) and is always ready to snuggle. Vinny is housebroken when kept on a schedule, working on his crate training but non-destructive when left alone, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
