My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a handsome boy looking for his forever home. He was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owner felt he was becoming too protective of the family. This was likely due to Bear having some anxiety. His new family will need to help him gain some confidence and work on socializing him with new people and situations. Depending on his potential adopter's experience, Bear may be required to attend positive reward based obedience classes with his new family. Bear will do best in an home with no young children. He will also do best as the only pet; other dogs can overwhelm him and he tends to chase cats and other small critters. Bear is a very loving boy who loves to go on walks. He will need plenty of exercise to keep him healthy and happy. Please fill out an adoption application if you would like to meet Bear and get to know him better.
