Kermit's Story...
5-6 years old
Hopping around like a frog! Kermit was signed over to our shelter when he had a habit of getting out of the yard. His previous owners did let us know that he has been housebroken, crate trained, loves other dogs and likes children. This happy little wiggle worm is full of energy and just wants to play. He loves people and will come running up to see you the first time you meet insisting on a game of chase or a scratch behind the ears. Kermit would love a big forever family with lots of people to love on and play with. If you’re ready for this little life of the party then come and meet Kermit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kermit, a Fruit Heights Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
