My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Steve is a young adult, who is shy and a bit unsure of how the world works. Giving him time and patience, he will come around to be a very lovable guy. He loves his treats and walks well on a leash in a quiet environment.

Steve will do best in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes and a fully fenced, secure yard.

This pup is a puppy mill survivor and will require a special dose of patience and love - ask your SCHS staff member for more information about the unique needs of these dogs.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills. Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication needed to provide your new pet the time and training needed to become his/or best possible companion.
