Fiona-Adopted!'s Story...
Fiona was rescued from an animal shelter where she was in an emaciated condition and so weak she almost didn't survive. She was left in an empty house with a couple other dogs that people were feeding, however no one noticed her because she was left in a closed room to starve. Fiona was taken directly to our vet and has been recovering at a foster home. The great care and love she has received has been amazing. In a short time Fiona has gained weight and is now a happy dog that has already bonded with the older dog at the house. She will make a wonderful companion for another dog and a loving family member.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
