I am already neutered, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Pacino's Story...
Pacino is a 6.5 year old neutered male cat who was found as a stray and brought into the shelter. Pacino came to the shelter in September of 2016 and has recently been placed into our adoption kennels. Pacino has a condition concerning his eyes called entropian which the shelter's veterinarian has worked to correct, however the condition can always reoccur which is why his eyes are strange looking. Pacino has also had some teeth removed due to infection, and may possible need dental work in the future. Mr. Pacino has tested positive for FIV. Pacino is a sweet and loving cat who enjoys affection, and when walking around will quickly find himself rubbing against your shins and shoes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pacino, a Greensboro Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
