Sable's Info...

Sable's Story...
Hello! My name is Sable because I have fur as soft as a sable, which if you don't know is kind of a wild ferret. I came to the shelter as a stray when the people who had been taking care of me thought I was sick. I was indeed sick but thanks to the people here at MaxFund I am now healthy and ready to find my forever home. I would love to go home with a young couple or anyone really. I can get along with some of the cats here but am definitely a dominant personality and would need to be the only cat in the home. I think I may be able to get along with a dog as long as there is a slow introduction. If I sound like your guy come and see me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sable, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
