My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I am Sapphire, a sparkling personality to match my sparkling blue eyes, and 6 year old, Lilac Point Himalyan who is not declawed. I will sleep right beside you all night. I am extremely loving. My foster says I am literally a gem. I just had a dental and was groomed by our vet, due to living in a garage for the past 5 months with previous owners. I was in absolutely horrific shape, my coat was so matted I couldn't move my head. Due to my terrible coat, I had to be anesthesized by our vet to be shaved and I also needed a dental. I came thru with flying colors. NO KIDS, NO EXCEPTIONS! I was in a home with kids and was terrified of them. The rescue will not make me go thru that again. I am doing great now, eating well, so clean, able to move freely, and happy to be in a warm, light filled home. I do need a gentle home that can give me tons of attention to make up for my terrible life I lived before coming into the rescue. I would be ok in a home with maybe one older cat who would ignore me. But I really prefer and deserve a home as the only pet. If interested in giving me my forever safe, indoor home, please email the rescue at ccrescue614@yahoo.com for an adoption application.
