My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Siblings Goldie and Spot were dumped at a mobile home park in San Bernardino at the beginning of January 2017. Some children that lived in the neighborhood saw their owners take them out of the car and drive off. Luckily a sweet woman in the neighborhood took them in, despite what the children told her she tried for over a month to locate their owners to no avail. Poor Goldie and Spot were so heartbroken that once they broke out of their rescuer's yard to go back to the exact same spot where their owners dumped them. They are both very sociable and do well with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. They are house-trained and Goldie is leash-trained. They are able to eat food out of the same bowl as their rescuer's pit bull and two small terriers. Goldie is more active and vocal than her brother, Spot who is more reserved and quiet. They are about eight months old and weigh about 70 pounds. They do not have to be adopted together but we would certainly be thrilled to be able to rehome them as a pair. They would do best in an active family. Please continue reading to learn about our adoption process.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
