Hunter was left at the shelter door during the night in a crate with a handwritten note, explaining his name, age, breed and temperament. We assume whoever dumped him thought he would be adopted, but he struggled to pass the shelter's temperament tests. Shortly after we pulled him into foster care, he was adopted from Nobody's Perfekt Dogs a year ago. The family's schedule changed and he was left unattended in the house for 9+ hours a day with no doggy-door, and pooped in the house. They confined him to the bathroom, and he was not happy about it, so they returned him.
Hunter was confused when he was returned, but soon bounced back and became the friendly, sweet dog we knew from before. He bonds quickly with his family and gets along well with other dogs. He does pretty good with the cats in his foster home. He is okay with kids. He is a little "pudgier" than we would like. A better diet and exercise should get him into shape in no time.
