THANK YOU for wanting a RESCUED DOG/PUP!!!!

Jackson is an adorable Blue Heeler puppy who is mixed with something that gives him a longer body or shorter legs than a purebred has.    Jackson was rescued from a high kill facility in south Texas as they were taking him to euthanasia because they thought he had parvo.  He was snatched from the jaws of death at the very last minute and it turned out that he only had a little respiratory infection that cleared up with a simple antibiotic.  After that close call, Jackson has really come in to his own. Like all puppies, he loves to play with toys and to play keep away from the other puppies.   But he likes his people too.  Jackson is a lover and will spend hours on your lap and cuddling close to you.   He hates being alone, and will cry if you leave him alone and he can hear you in another room.  He will eventually go to sleep, but he doesn’t like it much.  J ackson is only 8 weeks old, and very sweet.   Does this little boy sound like he will fit into your family and home?  If so, please email Debbie at

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption application required. Adoption fee of $150 for local adoptions and $350-450 for out of state adoptions (includes transport fees).
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
