My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in meeting Aerobee, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Aerobee, born approximately 10/7/16, has quite the story to tell. This little girl has come so far with such a rough start to overcome. She was trapped with other kittens at a feral colony. Despite our best efforts, it appeared she would remain wild and withdrawn from humans and need to be found a barn home to live out her days. As time went on, her "siblings" were adopted out and Aerobee remained alone. It was as if an overnight miracle happened and within a few days, her behavior did a complete turnaround. She was still prone to flight when you entered a room but more and more she would stop herself and come back to her human to be petted and scratched all over (loves to be face pet).

For Aerobee's purrfect home, it should probably be a quiet home and one that will be willing to give her time to just simply blossom on her own. She will probably need to be in a quiet and small room such as a bathroom for a few days as she will be prone to hide a bit and needs to have her special someone go in and just be with her and let her approach and come around to trust. She really needs patience and needs to not be chased after or have someone grab for her from above her.

One thing for sure, Aerobee won't be going to a barn home, having turned into a purry, loving widdle girl. She just simply needs a home that will give her time to blossom. A wonderful older kitty would be great for her to learn from and bond to. Tasty wet food treats would help her bonding too. (She really loves her catnip Greenies treats too!)

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
