My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edgar is a not quite 2 year old Great Pyrenees who came to NorthStar from northern MN. He has a very sweet personality and loves to cuddle and play with his humans. He does not do well with children or cats but would thrive in a home with someone that is very active and where he can be exercised regularly. He does fine with female dogs, but may not get along with other male dogs. Edgar did get along with cats in his first home, but can get too excited by them and try to play with them too rough. Edgar does need training to help him grow and be successful in his new home. NorthStar will pay for Edgar to receive the first round of obedience training with his new family.

Edgar is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He is house trained. Edgar is not a fan of being of being left alone for long periods of time in small spaces. Secure, visible fencing is almost always required to adopt a Great Pyrenees.

An adoption application, site visit, and adoption fee are required to adopt Edgar.
