Porsha is a 10 year old spay female cat. She came to us from a vet clinic where she was saved from being euthanized just because she doesn't like dogs. She lived in the vet clinic for 2 1/2 years until the clinic closed. Porsha needs to be the only cat, she hates other cats and dogs. She needs a quiet home without kids. Porsha is a wonderful cat, full of love!! ...but she can have the "calico" attitude and gets grumpy like we all do. She will lightly paw your leg to ask to jump up on your lap. She will help you type your notes on the computer and will make you laugh when you need it most. She is VERY scared at the moment in our rescue, too much activity going on. If there is anyone willing to give her a chance, she will reward you with loyalty and love! Porsha is declawed on her front paws so has to be an indoor only cat. If you have any questions, please e-mail or call the rescue on Fridays to speak to Carrie, 208-448-0699.
Porsha, Calico has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Priest River Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being killed. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located in Priest River right on the main highway (Highway 2) and attend as many adoption events as we can each year. We have several fund raisers and you can learn about them on our website.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption application which after being filled out is read and approved or not by the volunteer in charge. The prices for adoption are listed on our web site;
