Marty's Story...
Hi my name is Marty and I am a very sweet, very beautiful pittie mixed dog or at least that is what my foster mom tells me. I love to cuddle but can run very fast when you throw a tennis ball for me. I know how to chase it and even to return it to you…the dropping part is something I am still working on. I am fully house broken, using the doggie door to go out when I need to. I sleep very well in a crate but my foster mom trusts me so much that now I am allowed to sleep outside of the crate with my doggie sisters and I sleep through the night without disturbing anyone.

By the way did I mention that I have 3 legs? Missing a leg doesn’t bother me a bit though so I hope it won’t bother you. My foster mom says it makes me very special. I also can run very fast on 3 legs and can jump over 4 feet in the air if I try. So you see, having only 3 legs makes me special but does not keep me from doing all the doggie things I want to do.

I love all dogs and all people. I am not sure about cats or small children since I have not been around them but I am learning how to be the best at everything. Please consider adopting me. I will love and cherish you forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty, a Roswell Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Roswell, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
