Taffy (13 lb) Awesome Girl!'s Story...
Hi! I'm Taffy! I was surrendered to a local high kill shelter. I was saved and now I'm looking for my true forever home! Yes, I'm a little cutie and big sweetheart! I'm approx. 2-3 years old and approx. 13 pounds(2/8). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger! You'll see how beautiful and wonderful I am in my video! I'm great with kids, cats and other dogs. I love to play with other dogs. I'm highly intelligent and mind well inside and out. I'm house trained. I come when called. I have a low to medium energy level. I love to play. I like to greet people at the door. I like to be by my person most of the time. I have a gentle, very loving and submissive temperament. I'm also a happy go lucky girl! I really enjoy being petted and loved on. I love to sleep snuggled up next to someone. I can snuggle any time of the day! I'm quite the character! You can throw a towel down anywhere and I will lie on it in a instant. I also like to lie on slippers. I have an old injury to my back, right leg and walk with a limp. It doesn't hurt and I'm still agile and love to run. I hope to get a forever home where I'm treated like the princess I am! If you're looking for a sweet, loving and beautiful furry companion with a great personality, then look no further! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving home! Don't forget those belly rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy (13 lb) Awesome Girl!, a Burlington Brittany/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany/Dachshund for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Brittany/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany/Dachshund breeders who help with Brittany/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
