Weight: 12 lbs
DOB: 8/3/07

Temperament: Frosty is a very sweet dog. He's friendly and loves his head scratched by everyone he meets. He's a little unsure of himself at times, maybe he was probably hit in his former life. However he's still trusting enough to come right up to you for love. He'd make a great companion dog or walking partner. He came into the rescue with Shasta. He loves other dogs and even goes around cleaning all of my foster dogs. He's very affectionate and is really hoping for a family of his own. He may not be best suited for a home with young children.
Favorite Activities: Sleeping, eating, getting some love, going for walks.
Where did he come from:  owner surrender - doesn't want anymore
Ambitions: To find the perfect furrever home

About Recycled Poms and Schipperkes

About Our Rescue Group...

We began in 1998, and have continued to rescue purebred dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills, dogs surrendered by their owners, lost and abandoned dogs on death row at local shelters and a few dogs found roaming the streets. We house, feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, spay or neuter each dog rescued, but mostly, we give them love.

Please join our cause! We can't do it alone.

We are run entirely by volunteers who give of their time to help find these precious pups their forever homes! Please consider joining us in our fight to find "furever homes" for these pups! We can always use volunteers, FOSTER HOMES!!!!, and donations, including quality dog food, healthy treats (like BULLY STICKS!) belly bands for boy dogs, exercise pens, pee pads, collars, leashes, and Dog shampoo

Come Meet Our Pets...

We would love to see you on the

3rd Saturday of each month - 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM

Also, feel free to email us about a prospective pet, and we will put you in touch with their foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
