My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy is about 5 years old, and the most adorable Black German Shepherd.

Teddy is strong on leash and requires a family that is committed to his on-going training.
He responds well to positive reinforcement techniques and NILIF (nothing in life is free).
He is a working dog and loves structure and rules.
While he has not been reactive to cats in the first couple weeks in his foster home, we cannot guarantee that he would be ok with cats and he will be re-tested.
He is tolerant of other dogs but doesn't like super rambunctious dogs jumping on him (as he should!).

As with any of our dogs, we recommend a proper introduction to other dogs. Teddy is all about his humans and loves to follow them around. His future home should be able to take time to properly acclimate him to his new home, as he had a touch of separation anxiety when he first left the shelter and went to his foster home. He is well behaved on outings, so take him with you!
