BLU's Story...
Attention! BLU Here!
I am a gorgeous, happy, female, spayed, microchipped, housebroken, 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Queensland Heeler/Blue Heeler puppy looking for my forever loving home. I am a happy dog, love to run and fetch, know some commands, know how to use a doggy door and be very loyal and closest to my family all day long - once I find them. I don't stray around or run. I am best suited with an active family, with a secure fenced yard to exercise in and drain my energy. I am a real candidate for a family/person who wants a buddy for hiking, walking, jogging. I am also a real candidate for agility and obedience. Right now I am in need of formal training to polish my leash training to become the loyal family dog you are looking for. I am not a couch potato nor an apartement dog at all and physically and mentally best stimulated when I get work. I require regular daily exercise. I am considered a family dog so I am primary indoors. I am smart and intelligent, as my breed belongs to the easy trainable ones - however when there is something in for me - like a treat - I don't say no.
My new parents should have breed experience. Enrolling me in an agility or obedience class is a great start. Inviting visitors over regularly, and taking me to busy parks, stores that allow dogs, and on leisurely strolls to meet neighbors will also help me polish my social skills.
Yours with a happy tailwag!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BLU, a Inland Empire Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Inland Empire, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Inland Empire.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inland Empire already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inland Empire breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inland Empire paves the way for another one to be saved.
