Tobie's Story...
Tobie is one of those once in a lifetime special dogs. She's mom to 3 of the puppies in our program and is just so in tune with people. She doesn't have much formal training but is exceptionally trainable and mild mannered. Great therapy dog candidate. She's just under 20 lbs and 3 years old . Tobie has been raised with abuse and kids and is great with them and all people and dogs. She crate trained and potty trained but has never had full house privledges so will take a bit of time for her to be truly completely housebroken. Adoption fee $350

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tobie, a Los Angeles Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
