Cookie is an adorable Beagle mix girl that was born in May 2011 and weighs 27 lbs full grown.  She was surrendered to our organization from what seemed like a domestic violence situation. Her skin was in horrible condition, but after medicine and a few good medicated baths, she has healed and is doing great.

Cookie is a happy, loving, and mellow girl who deserves to know what it's like to live and be loved in a safe environment.  She doesn't mind being around other dogs on hikes with our dog walking group but doesn't want them in her personal space. She would be best in a home as an only dog and will make a great companion for someone who is home often and can spend some extra time with her.  She bonds very close with people she loves and enjoys both cuddling and nice walks on a leash.  She will be the ultimate couch potato in the home:)

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
