Please say hello to Snoopy.  Snoopy is a gentle, loving boy, about 2 years old.  He is so handsome, a real looker, with a coat so soft, and just a touch of feathering in his tail.  (He's very proud of his tail.).  Snoopy loves people, including kids, and he's fine with other dogs, .  He's a very sociable guy.

Some of Snoopy's favorite things include playing fetch, watching the squirrels in the trees, and cuddling up next to you, for a good belly rub, or just to lean on you.   He has excellent house manners.  He's a terrific sofa-and-TV buddy.  He is also very good on a leash and halter.

Snoopy was rescued, after being found lost and alone.  But he does not dwell on the past at all.  He has such a bright and happy personality.

Snoopy is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative.   If you have any questions, please email us at contact@flashlafayette.org.   You can send an adoption application directly from our website at www.flashlafayette.org.

Thank you for making the positive choice to adopt!

About Friends of Lafayette Animal Shelter

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for the dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals in the care of Lafayette Animal Control Center (LACC) and other animal shelters and welfare agencies in the greater Lafayette area, to end euthanasia as the primary means of population control, and to reduce the number of homeless animals at LACC.

We work directly with individuals, to help them keep their pets. We also work with them to help them rehome their pets, if that is the only choice.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are at Petco North (on La. Ave) most every Saturday, from 10:00 till 2:00. Feel free to contact us if you need to come later.
We are also available to arrange meet-n-greets with animals we've taken into foster care, during the week. Just send us an email.

Our Adoption Process...

We work with each applicant individually. We have a short adoption application. You can see it and access it on our website at www.flashlafayette.org, Adoption Info. We ask to do a visit to the applicant's home prior to the adoption. Our adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $150 and for cats and kittens is $75. But we often have reduced adoption fees! Please ask us if we are running a "special". We also offer reduced adoption fees for homes adopting multiple pets (for example, two kittens for the "price" of one) and for special promotions throughout the year.
