Lacy's Story...
My name is LACY - ID#A411039. I am a spayed female, black Boston Terrier and Beagle mix. The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 02, 2017. Lacy needs to drop a couple of pounds, but walk her daily and you can help her with this. She is a loving dog who seems to be housetrained! Her breed is a guess to us. She is a nice size and has no tail or a docked tail. Her black fur shines in the sunlight!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacy, a Santa Maria Beagle/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Boston Terrier for sale in Santa Maria, or seeking a Beagle/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Maria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Maria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Maria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Maria paves the way for another one to be saved.
