Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunter is a super sweet, fun and smart little guy! He loves fetch and snuggle. He is a short little boy, but don’t let his height fool you he can jump straight up in the air like he has springs in his legs ! He love love loves toys of all kinds and has great house manners, but wants to play often so can tend to be too much for an older dog, but would love another canine companion to play with. Hunter needs a fenced yard (not invisible fence) He is doing great learning to sit…even sits up and looks like a little meerkat! He's liked everyone he has met and is going to make someone a great new best friend as long as he can snuggle in bed under his blanky with you. Are you his new best friend? Although he hasn’t met one, we don’t think he would be good with a cat…he would almost without a doubt chase it. Hunter is 1 ½ years old and weighs about 10 lbs.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
