My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, Everyone! My name is Princess, and I sure look like one, don't I?! I am a very beautiful, approx 3 yr old, budgie (what you humans commonly refer to as a parakeet)

I am so happy to be at my new foster home! I have already received a brand new cage and toys which I love! I am always playing and chirping! The humans that support and donate to Florida Parrot Rescue are THE BEST! Speaking for all of the rescued birds, we couldn't survive without your help! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm a little scared of hands right now so I don't step up just yet but I am sure with a little love and patience I could learn. After all, budgies live in huge flocks in the wild and we are very social birds. We love company and companionship, just offer!

At the moment, I am on a seed diet which really isn't the best type of diet for me. My foster mom is trying to get me to start eating some healthy greens like fresh broccoli and lettuce. She is also giving me pellets to try too. I am still young enough that I am sure I will start eating better too, as long as the good, healthy food is being offered.

I am a very sweet bird and I know my many chirps will make you happy! Please come meet me and take me home forever! I would be so grateful if you could buy me a few more things from my Amazon Wish list. Here is the link:

Thank you for stopping by to read my story! Hope to meet you soon!
Chirps and tweets,
Princess
