Grandma Rhoda's Story...
Yes, I am a little ole' lady and I have some of the pains that come with aging, but boy am I glad I'm now at FieldHaven. They believe in me and that I can find a loving home. In August 2016, I was taken to a municipal shelter for euthanasia for "respiratory problems, food issues and incontinence". Well, I do have some of those issues to some extent! Thank goodness my bloodwork shows I don't have anything terribly wrong; in fact I'm pretty normal for a 13 year old kitty. Please think about giving this ole gal a home. I'd be so grateful. I'm easy-going and low maintenance even if I'm not too fond of other cats. I'd be happy with my very own spot in your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grandma Rhoda, a Lincoln Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
