Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jovie
JOVIE is now available in the Midwest and NE states. Jovie came to us pregnant from a high kill shelter. LLR agreed to help her and her unborn babies. All of her puppies have been adopted and now it’s her turn. Jovie is about 1-2 years old and is smaller weighing about 45lbs. She seems to be a mix of maybe an Aussie or collie breed?!?! But she is a fun loving girl. When we first got her, we were unsure how dog friendly she was because she was very protective of her little family (which is to be expected). But now, in a new foster home, she has been introduced to several dogs and all she wants to do is play, play, play. Her new best friend is a girl named Coco and they can’t wait to see each other when its playtime. She knows sit and takes treats nicely. She will do well with an active family and older respectful children. She’s okay on lead but additional obedience training would only benefit this already good girl. She can be cat tested if needed but we believe she would probably do better without the kitties. Jovie is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She has been kept on prevention for HW, fleas and ticks. If you are interested in Jovie, please complete an application and mention her in the notes section.
