Quince's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Quince's Story...
Daisy and her NINE puppies were being given away in a Walmart parking lot in southern Missouri. Luckily, someone intervened after only 4 puppies had been given away, swooping in to retrieve the remaining family members then getting them to rescue. Daisy's pups DNA tested as Pug/Shih Tzu mix on one side and Pug/Mix breed on the other. They were born on October 15, 2016 so as of Valentine's day, are about 17 weeks old. Quince is one of the 3 boys. He looks mostly pug but has a bit of a snout with some sabling in his coat. Quince weighs about 7 1/2 pounds and we expect his adult weight to be around 14 - 16 pounds. Quince is neutered, up to date on all shots, well wormed, on heartworm/flea preventive and is microchipped. Quince's adoption fee is $375 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quince, a House Springs Pug/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Shih Tzu for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Pug/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Pug/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
