Luke and his sister, Leia started their lives scrapping and scrounging in a used/dumped car lot. They were rescued a day before the January snowstorm. Luke has exquisitely soft black fur and striking green eyes. Luke loves to chase ping pong balls, gaze out the window and jump in the air after any kind of string toy. He is shy at first to strangers but has become his foster mommy's sweet lap boy who has the most robust purr and will frequently give lovey licks to let her know he cares. His foster mommy works from home so he would do well with someone available to give him a lot of one on one attention when transitioning to his new home. One of his fave things to do is crawl up on his foster mommy's chest and nap right there on her shoulder. Because of this love he gives at his foster home, he will definitely overcome his shyness and be a wonderful addition to a future family that will be just a little patient with him at first. Since he and his sister survived together and make each other feel secure, it would be ideal that they be adopted together but, if not, Luke would benefit from having a cat sibling or two to play with. The force is definitely strong with this beautiful kitten.
We ask for a minimum adoption fee of $100, which includes her neuter, rabies vaccine, 1st FRCVP shot, worming, microchip, and flea preventative, food, litter, and other medical treatment while in our care. This amount is BELOW our actual cost to do all of these things and we make no money on adoptions. She is fully vetted and can go home at the completion of a successful Meet n Greet with Foster approval, pending payment of adoption fee and possible home inspection.
