JJ, Jeter, Julep, Jackie's Story...
The little "J" kittens are so happy to be in from the cold! They were born to a feral momma cat in late fall. Fortunately, their mom was wise enough to realize her little ones stood little chance of surviving the winter months, particularly near a busy road. Every morning she brought them to the porch of a friendly family for attention and food. Soon the kittens learned to trust and enjoy the company of people.
They are now safe and thriving in a foster home. The "J" kittens are a happy go lucky, playful group who scurry forward for treats and cuddling. They would love to be adopted with a kitten buddy but they've also met and learned a bit about big dogs in their foster home. There are 2 boys and 2 girls.
JJ, Jeter, Julep and Jackie tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, are litter trained and vaccinated.
If you would like more information about these precious kittens, contact foster mom DiAnne at 570-490-4117 or e-mail cassieleo@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JJ, Jeter, Julep, Jackie, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
