I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
I am a six year old spayed Beagle girl and am looking for a new forever home after my owner passed away. I must say, I have been loved and lived the “spoiled life” and in the process became too round for my own good. In my foster home, I have lost weight on my “green bean” diet (less food with green beans for bulk). I can now walk and run and have a beautiful waist line, if I may say so myself. To help you decide if I am the right dog for you, I will share the following about me:
I am soft and affectionate, a cuddle dog. Therefore, I would secretly love to be your only dog. (I love to meet and play with other dogs, but when living with them, I work too hard to be the favorite and my pushy tendencies come out. Yes, I like to be the favorite.)
I love to meet all people.
I am super smart and don’t miss a beat.
I love to ride in the car.
I love taking walks and take in the “news”. There are more scents out there than you will ever know. After all, I am a Beagle!
I would like to be appreciated as a Beagle, as at times, I just have to express myself vocally. I do this much less than I used to, but some things just have to be said out loud.
Are you interested in adopting Sadie or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Sadie.
Thanks for thinking adoption!
