My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy listing only for NINJA. This Doxie is NOT at Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. For information, please contact her current caretaker, Aomori at (509) 430-2433 or adavis2433@gmail.com.

DOGGIE BIO:

Ninja is a 5 year old smooth black female Dachshund princess who weighs 12 lbs. Her current family has found that they are no longer able to care for her and have asked ODR, Inc. for assistance to find her a new, loving, forever home. Ninja is a bit of an outdoorsy princess. She loves to bask in the sun and go for runs and hikes, however, she also eats her kibbles one at a time from the carpet. Ninja is an alert barker - she will let you know when someone is knocking at the door. Who needs a doorbell with a doxie like this at home?

NINJA will do best in a family with a stay at home (work from home/retired) parent and NO children or cats. She isn't comfortable around children and has bitten in the past. She could perhaps do well with a gentlemanly, neutered male Doxie as a companion.

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is over-full and cannot take this little Doxie in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact her current caretaker, Aomori at (509) 430-2433 or adavis2433@gmail.com.

Please note, this is a Courtesy Listing for a doxie that is NOT at Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. We are helping the owner find his/her new forever family. Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. has posted this dog as available for adoption or rescue intake as a courtesy accommodation to the dog's owner. Any and all information, photos, etc. have been provided by the dog's owner. Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. is not responsible for the accuracy of any of the information contained in this listing or any information that may have been omitted. Thank you!

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.

*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.

Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.

Thank you!
