My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Go get Gizzie! She's a spunky 1.5 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix. Gizzie was surrendered to Friendship awhile back with 2 of her buddies because her owner was too ill to care for the dogs. She was adopted and recently returned because she barked too much while her owner was away. She lived in an apartment and the neighbors complained. Gizzie is good with cats, other small dogs and seems to like kids. She does not like her leash and will take off running if outside without one. She used potty pads in the home. This sweetie likes to sleep in bed, but will go to her bed if you tell her to. She's a little quirky in that she likes to collect socks. Gizzie does have a heart murmur. She's a healthy girl now, but it may affect her health in the future. Gizzie would sure love to finally get back into a forever home. Please consider this sweetheart named Gizzie!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
