My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is a 10 year old purebred Mini Dachshund that was surrendered by her owner because the children were too rough with her. She has been spayed and is up to date on everything. Maggie is blind but can see large shadows so she gets around very well. She is housebroken and pad trained.
Maggie is very sweet and affectionate. She loves squeaky toys, exploring the yard and cuddling with her person. She is a dominant female so she prefers a home where she can be the only dog. She gets along with cats.
We are looking for a family or individual with no small children that will treat Maggie like a queen. Prefer someone that has dachshund and blind dog experience.
A veterinary reference is an absolute must as well as a secure fenced yard and home visit.
