Ace has bunny fur and due to an old injury can hop like one. He uses his rear leg but not always. His foster mom has manipulated it a lot and it doesn't seem to be painful. Ace was very under-socialized but has become a cuddle buddy at bedtime and sleeps on her shoulder.
He has free run of the house and seems to be good on his potty skills. Due to his leg, he squats and uses potty pads when his Fostermom is gone too long working to expect a small dog to hold it without bursting. He is not a chewer but enjoys dental treats at night. Very gently guy.
Ace had less than 24 hours left at the shelter in Sacramento when we pulled him. What a gem he is! Fostering him has given us a chance to watch him blossom! If you want a quiet small dog and willing to give him time to warm up Ace is a good choice! He would enjoy a quiet home with adults, or maybe older kids instead of young ones being the best choice if you have children. He loves vanilla yogurt off a spoon. He is a total gentleman!
