Miss Delilah is looking for her very own family to love. This black beauty is a 50 lb lab x terror mix, around 10 months old. She loves to get snuggles, belly rubs, and give kisses. Delilah is all puppy and will need guidance, consistency, and understanding as she figures things out. Her foster family is already working with her but she will need to go to a home that will continue basic training with a puppy and build her confidence. She may do best in a home without very small children as she likes to jump up to get the attention of her humans for some love. Her foster family is working very hard on getting her to stay down but she just loves people and gets excited when she is around them. She is learning very fast and is eager to continue learning new things. She loves her toys and will play happily alone or with other playful dogs. She is crate trained and housetrained. She is also learning her leash manners.

Delilah is fostered in Huntsville, AL but she is available for adoption in your area. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and current on trifexis (heartworm prevention). If you are interested in this playful, happy puppy, please apply for Delilah at www.forrescue.net/dog- application. Once received, her foster mom will be in touch and can answer all of your questions.

About Friends of Rescue - Huntsville, AL

About Our Rescue Group...

Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
