My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Artemis was abandoned at a vet's office at only 5 days old because her mother was too sick to nurse. Luckily for Artemis Friends of Rescue had a nursing mother that took her in as one of her own along with Artemis's siblings! Artemis is calm and sweet. She enjoys exploring but also loves to be held. Her lineage is unknown, but we are guessing she is perhaps a boxer/pointer mix. We actually have a photo of her mother and she appears to be a boxer/pit mix. With Artemis's delicious chocolaty coloring, freckled nose and floppy ears she is a mix of many breeds that is too cute for words. She will make a lovely family member!

Artemis will be age appropriate vetted including microchip & spay upon adoption. She is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but can be transported to surrounding and northern states for the right home. She will be ready for local adoption on February 27th and cleared to travel to Northern States on March 10th.
