KIXX's Story...
There are five adorable puppies in this litter and each one of them is just as friendly, happy and loving as they can be. Evidently they were very well cared for and have had quite a bit of hands on attention from their previous family, because they sure do love people, and they are fat, shiny and healthy. They were turned into a local kill shelter, so we don’t really know much else about their past…we received them when they were just eight weeks old. These little “Low Riders” are very active and nothing suits them more than to run around and play with their siblings and toys. Kipp is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. He was born 11/24/16 making him 11 weeks old and weighing 12 pounds at the time of this posting (2/14/17). He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Kixx is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KIXX, a Newburgh Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
