My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mora is a young beagle who is unsure why she ended up at a local shelter. At 9 months old, Mora’s family thought she was going into heat, so they took her to the shelter! We are as confused as Mora as to why! Mora is a full grown girl at 14 inches and 24 pounds. She has an unusual coat with her brown head, white back and black around the tail. Her white coat has is covered with faint black freckles!

Mora has good house manners and has had only a rare accident in the house. She uses the dog door without any problems and can be trusted to sleep on a dog bed at night. She still loves to put things in her mouth, so as with any young dog, nothing should be left on tables or the floor that you do not want carried away and chewed! She loves taking things out into the yard. It is always covered with treasurer toys that lost their appeal when the other beagles showed no interest!

Mora loves to play and wrestle. She is a puppy and still learning proper dog manners, but is doing well with all her foster siblings. Mora can be mouthy. She will play chew on your arm or hand but never hard. She would not be good in a home with very small children.

Mora has a sweet nature and when the day is done, loves the chance at some lap time with her human. She is never demanding of your attention, but is happy to be on the receiving end of some loving. She is a very confident young lady and will do great in an active home that will give her plenty of exercise and love!
